The changing of plans

Well, here goes.

I'm going into the hospital tonight for the beginning of my induction. Hannah Mae, Lord willing, will be crying and breathing and being on the outside this time tomorrow night.

Long story short, she's begun to show some signs that she's just not getting all she needs from the placenta and we all (the high risk OB, my OB and well, me) feel that she's better off out here.

She's a preemie (I'm 35 weeks 2 days today), she's going to be small... I think they estimated under 5 lbs... I'm in shock, I think. I must be, right?

Praise God, they are seeing what needs to be seen and doing what needs to be done in order to keep our little Hannah Mae safe.

This goes without saying because I know you already are and have been since September... please pray.

I will do my best to get the wonderful news of her birth to you as soon as I can.

Ebe,

I am praying that there will be an overwhelming peace over you and Hannah Mae. I am praying that God will be glorified through her birth and that every person who comes in contact with you and/or Hannah Mae will see Jesus in some way. Praise God for the special gift you are about to recieve!

Love,
Leah

Ebe,
Oh... so thrilled for you and Chris! I will be praying all night as I am a night owl... and I am sure you will come to mind through out the night. I am praying for a smooth labor and delivery and most of all that our gracious God would have His hand of protection over the 2 of you sweet ladies... and that she will be strong and healthy!

I will be praying till I hear news from you... so know that you are covered in prayer... So excited Ebe, I can hardly stand it!!! Knowing Owen will be rejoicing in Heaven too on the birth of his little sister.

I love you Ebe!

We prayed for the three of you at dinner and again at bedtime. As I was praying for Hannah Mae at bedtime with Emma Grace, she interrupted me and said, "And please let her have dimples like me". SWEET! I couldn't help but smile. She also mentioned how cute Owen was (from pictures she has seen of course) after we prayed, and I told her I couldn't wait to see if Hannah looks like her big brother. I will check in with you tomorrow and will pray for you often tonight as I'm not sleeping well already these days. Praying she does not need NICU, but praising God for the technology if she does. I'll stop rambling. I love you!

Oh sweet Ebe, I am praying for you right now (it's 3:30pm on Tuesday). Praying you feel God's presence and his overwhelming peace right now and that Hannah Mae will be crying the most beautiful cry you've ever heard!!!

Scary but praise God they are keeping that sweet girl safe! Hannah, Chris, and you are all in my thoughts and prayers today. I actually thought of ya'll while I was brushing my teeth this morning. Can't wait to hear news of that sweet girl, and see her face!

My daughter was born 2 weeks early by C-Section... considering some babies make it at 24 weeks, Hannah Mae will do just fine...

And with the early delivery not only are you delivered of the baby but also of your burdened and worried heart.

God is in control!!!

Blessings,

Denise in Canada.
